Writing/Grammar
I have assisted students in elementary school, middle school, and high school in writing. Written communication is a lifelong skill, whether someone grows up to be an author or simply wants to send articulate emails.

Elementary School
Unfortunately, most schools do not emphasize this subject enough, so insightful elementary school parents have initiated writing tutoring to ensure their kids build a strong foundation. I select workbooks from a teacher store, and we use that as guidance, in addition to student-written essays.

Middle School
Middle schoolers start receiving more written assignments. Although they benefit from supplemental writing education, I also assist with school projects as-needed.

High School
By high school many students are deep into heavy writing assignments. I am always happy to provide extra education, but historically I find my high schoolers are much more interested in assistance on their rough drafts. I enjoy editing and proofreading papers for them, and meanwhile modeling them my thought processes so that they can apply them without me.
